Cubs update: What a canceled season looks like

The past couple of weeks saw the world slow down as the number of COVID-19 cases worldwide continues to climb. Major sporting events are either suspended indefinitely or canceled. The MLB decided its best to cancel the season for everyone’s health and safety. Two Cubs employees tested positive for COVID-19. The team did not have the results until March 23 and 24. The Cubs believe the training session on March 8 contributed to the exposure of the two to the highly-contagious virus since there was nothing indicative of it during the session, notes Dr. Matt Boente MD, an ardent supporter of the Chicago Cubs.
